Turned at slow speeds from only the finest quality hand selected split stock white ash billets from second growth forests being regenerated each year. We hand sort and select our ash billets to properly showcase what made ash the wood of choice for so many years. 10% better on impact then maple and 5% harder than birch. Ash is more forgiving when hitting outside the sweet spot. Along with Double Boned our Special Grain Filling and Flame Treating processes, dating back over 100 years increase driving power and hitting distance.
The Split Stock C271 Drop 5 Northern Ash is Bone Rubbed for Hardness and Best Pop. The C271 pattern features a tapered knob and thin handle with a standard barrel. Made from our strongest billets with the best stiffness and hardness. Lightweight model for maximum bat speed and made for players who can hit within the sweet spot.
