Second Base Gloves
Second basemen typically use the smallest gloves on the diamond, usually measuring between 11 and 11.5 inches. This compact size keeps the glove lightweight and nimble.
Shortstop Gloves
Shortstop gloves are infield gloves most commonly measuring between 11.5” and 11.75” to provide extra reach for balls hit deep in the hole. This slightly longer length balances added coverage with the fast transfers.
